Give clerics some fun

How about giving clerics another spell to make them funner.

I was thinking mass silence similiar to sunray

or mass ancient curse

they need some love

Smite, pretty much paladin strike that gives them something to do besides stand around waiting for someone to get hurt.

a very good idea.  when im playing a cleric i never want to cast anything because i want to have fully mem'd heals when i need them.

some kind of in combat skill for clerics would make them a lot more interesting.

random cleric spell/skill idea

skill:  Spiritual Advisor
 skill will indicate to the cleric the lowest hp npc and/or pc in a room, ansi color code could be switched or echo to playername for implement.

Lasts up to 12 combat rounds/2 ticks. 8 tick cooldown.  Would let healers make priority based last second healing adjustments.  Information visible soley to cleric.

I think the group limit should be made 2, but all clerics should be given unlimited animates...that way they can just make their own 10 mans!

A few skill ideas for clerics:

withdraw: if successful, allows cleric to retreat from combat with less lag than usual (depending on skill level)
champion: if successful on target, it behaves as if it has gone 'into the breach' (i.e. white robe rescue)
spiritual mercy: if successful on target, it is ams for two rounds
corporeal mercy: if successful on target, it is nobash for two rounds
peace: if successful, all blind enemies are disengaged from combat
attention: forces group members to stand
abundance: next spell cast will affect both target and caster (e.g. word of recall / heal)

@ gnua champion rescue sounds like a pretty sweet idea for the soloing wannabe clerics.
             attention sounds like a way to bot!
but some form of charmy rescue would be a pretty sweet idea for clerics honestly thats something folks should consider!

Demon Mariliths already rescue but it is not auto like some mage charmies can do after several ranks.
